Here’s some instructions to setup Nighthawk WIFI Extender or How to login to MYWIFIEXt.NET:

  1. Plug in your extender at any available power outlet.
  2. Wait for the power lights on the extender to get stable.
  3. Now, you would need a device to help setting up the extender.
  4. You may use a computer, a phone or a tablet.
  5. Go to settings on your mobile device ; connect to Extender Wi-Fi network provided in the manual.
  6. Launch a web browser and enter net in the address bar on the top.
  7. You will see Extender setup wizard.
  8. Click or tap New extender setup.
  9. Select the Yes radio button in user agreement and click Next.
  10. You will see list of all available wifi networks. Select your Primary network and enter the passphrase to proceed.
  11. It will give you an option to customize your extender’s admin credentials.
  12. Click Next.
  13. Select and answer two security questions from the drop-down menu.
  14. Click or tap Next.
  15. You should see a message “Extender connected successful to your existing WiFi”.

Setup Nighthawk router: Manual Method

Manual method requires you to interact with your web browser, Here’s are some steps to follow to setup your Nighthawk wifi extender.

  1. Open your web browser and type mywifiext.net or 192.168.1.250 in the address bar and press enter.
  2. Then it will ask you to enter the credentials to login to your extender setup page.
  3. Make sure your extender is connected to the computer by ehternet cable so that you can login to extender page else there will be an error come up on the screen.
  4. After login click on the finish button to complete the setup
